Zachary was initially arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Possession of a Schedule IV substance, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Schedule I Substance and Maintaining a House for Drug Distribution. Zachary hired the Law Offices of Patrick R. McKamey to fight the case. Mr. McKamey was able to raise issues with the legality of the search and the legality of statements made by the defendant after he was in custody. Ultimately, case was negotiated down to one count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance and four misdemeanors (Possession of Paraphernalia). Client received a Withhold of Adjudication and 24 months probation with no jail time involved.
